Make MM a Habit
Use your planner to make sure that Minimum Maintenance stays a habit. In your calendar, for each day that you do your minimum maintenance, write an īMMī with a circle around the how many days you have done this in a row. If you miss a day, you have to start back at ī1ī.
Once you have īMMī and 21 next to it, MM has become a habit. To make sure that you continue in this habit, write īMMī in your calendar after you completed it. Seeing it written there each day will remind you of itīs importance.

Homemade Glass Cleaner
Try making this homemade glass cleaner as an easy and economical alternative to the store-bought variety. Pour 13 cups of warm water into an empty gallon container ( I use an empty gallon milk jug that has been well-rinsed.) Add to the warm water 1 cup vinegar, 1 cup ammonia, and 1 Tablespoon mild detergent (I use liquid dishwashing soap). Finally, add a few drops of blue food coloring to help it resemble the commercial glass cleaners and thereby avoid confusion in the family. Be sure to clearly label the container, and then pour some into a spray bottle for easy usage. Give yourself a little organizing help by also taping the recipe for the glass cleaner to the front of the container so you can easily have it handy when it's time to make a new batch.
