June 16, 2006, Newsletter Issue #129: Your Coupon Toolbox

Tip of the Week

In the Basic Principles section you´ll find a tip about creating "Toolboxes" or containers that hold everything you need to complete a job. You may want to keep a basket or tray in the kitchen to serve this purpose for coupons. My box contains the store advertising circulars for the week, the coupon inserts from my Sunday newspaper, a scissors, and calculator. It´s also where I dump coupons I cut off from boxes, find in magazines, or that come in the mail during the week. When I have the time to prepare a grocery list, I simply grab my box, cut and file my coupons, read the ads, make a plan, go shopping and . . . Save Money!
